Besides providing and booked nearly every weekend for entertaining Psychic House and
Corporate Parties, Shanahan also provides Chicago Paranormal Nights for individuals to explore
and experience haunted locations. Each paranormal night end’s with Edward Shanahan’s ‘Circle
of Energy Seance’ and with that it is his goal to attempt to raise the spirits to interact with those
present thus allowing them to become the Mediums for the Spirits, an experience for those
present and a great source for EVP’s be it on voice recorders or video for Paranormal Investigators.
He has also had very good sessions with the use of Ghost Boxes, be it his or those that others
bring to paranormal nights. He first experienced the ability and the responses with a Ghost Box
when Ursula Bielski and he held a paranormal night at the Villisca Ax Murder House about seven
years ago and since then he uses a Ghost Box when they are present or he brings his along.
He picks up on a Spirit(s) in a room and directs his question to knowing what the answer may be,
the thing he does different, is he allows others to interpret the answers, as he has no input or say
about what is coming from the Ghost Box. What has become unusual, is almost every Ghost
Box session in the last two years, Edward’s name is called out from the box a couple times
a night.
Edward Shanahan also channel’s spirits of individual’s loved ones who have passed away, by
using psychometery with a loved one’s item like reading glasses, rings, watches etc. items
the loved ones would of worn and picked up their energy.
Besides being a Speaker, Edward Shanahan will be doing readings for individuals and
